From the day of incorporation Global Tanker Pool has a fleet of 6 vessels with 4 more ships committed. This will bring the pool halfway to its target of about 20 ships. There are many years of trading history in the organization behind Global Tanker Pool. Global Tanker Pool has appointed Karl Arthur Braein as Pool manager for Global Tanker Pool. Prior joining the Global Tanker Pool he was responsible for all chartering in Asia/Pacific for ConocoPhillips.
Global Tanker Pool has appointed Capt. Karthik Kaliappan as Pool Operations Manager. Karthik was one of the youngest sailing masters in the Seaarland fleet and has come ashore to head up and build a strong operations team.

Ms. Grace Loo joined Seaarland Management Services Singapore Pte Ltd August 2008 and will be part of the Global Tanker Pool operation team – prior to joining Grace was working with Diamond Tankers.

Mr. Stathis Papakostopoulos started with Global Tanker Pool's operational team in February 2010. He joined us from Roxana Shipping where he was working in the operations department. He also has several years expoerience as a shipping agent in Brazil.
